To Our Tarleton Family,
During these difficult times Tarleton State University is rallying to do what’s best for our students in the face of challenging circumstances presented by COVID-19. Faculty and staff are working tirelessly to keep our learning community active and engaged. I am so proud to be part of the Tarleton Family because we are determined to stand together.
Following much consideration, we have made the decision to transform Tarleton’s Annual Giving Day and align it with Giving Tuesday Now, A Global Day of Unity scheduled for May 5. We know that every member of the Tarleton Family has felt the effects of the coronavirus, and want to be sensitive to the impact on you and your loved ones. We also know that the personal consequences for students as a result of this pandemic have been tremendous. Like you, we want to provide every opportunity to help them during this time of need.
Many have asked how to assist Tarleton students. Our Student Emergency Fund and other flexible funds, focused on current and future students are available to do so. I invite you to help if you are able by visiting our online giving page today or on May 5.
Members of the Tarleton Family have responded with tremendous generosity for our students in the past, and we are grateful for your ongoing support. Thank you for helping our students feel the power of the Tarleton Family in action.
